Come and explore our facilities during your stay. The gite is fully equipped for 6 with all bedding and towels (except pool towels) provided. The kitchen is well equipped as are the bedrooms where even bedside clocks are provided in each room. The patio has a dining table and 6 chairs and there are sunbeds for your use.
We have been careful to provide for the needs of children with a cot-bed available on request, along with a lie-flat buggy and stage 0 car seat which fits on the same wheels. The kitchen has children’s crockery and cutlery available as well as a high chair. There is a change mat available along with a potty and toilet seat. Just let us know when you book that you would like to use these items and they will be waiting for your arrival. There are a number of toys provided but we suggest you ensure that you bring your child’s favourite bed-companion!
Our family swimming pool will be available for you to share with us between May and September. There are a few pool toys in it which you are welcome to use. The swimming pool is solar heated, and on a sunny day, gets to over 30ºC.
In cooler weather we will provide wood for the installed wood-burner (which has a fireguard which can also be used around the barbeque) and in winter we will provide electric heaters for the bedrooms. The house is very well insulated and has been used over Christmas in great comfort!
We will provide a welcome basket on your arrival containing a few essentials such as coffee, tea, bread, butter, milk and other niceties. There is a supermarket in Villereal where you can top up these supplies once you have unpacked. There are several restaurants in the area which make eating out easy and enjoyable. Additionally, there is an outstanding Sunday market fairly close where you can discover the local produce. The nearest hypermarkets are situated in Bergerac, which is around 40 minutes away.
There is WiFi internet access within the gite. You may find you can also use the internet in the garden but with thick walls, the signal may not penetrate through to the outside.
